Valeria is generally a very calm and quiet person who isn't easily phased and keeps her cool. She's known have a bit of an attitude when frustrated, but overall shes very respectful and polite when talking to others. She tends to be very formal, and keeps herself emotionally distant from others so as not to hurt herself or them. She takes her job very seriously and can be a bit of a workaholic. She's rather subdued, and can come off as cold due to keeping herself so distant and calm. However, she cares a lot about both the lives of others and the wellbeing of spirits, and is a good listening ear and advice giver.Biography:
Valeria was born to a dainty mother and a coelune father, with their father working as a reaper. Due to his work and his own issues, he was incredibly distant her whole life and they remember their mother as their main support figure. Unfortunately they inherited their father's abilities that led him to his work, and when they were a child began to see spirits.
They spent much of their childhood very distressed, continually talking about the strange people they saw and the things they told to them and asked them. Their father couldn't seem to care less despite his large involvement, leaving their mother to support them and comfort them despite not knowing how to help. To this day they appreciate that she was always there for them, and always looking for ways to make things better.
With help from others on their moon, Valeria was eventually able to begin to handle and come to terms with their abilities. However, as a teenager they developed a large amount of resentment against their father for ignoring their needs and never being there for them. They swore to themselves that despite sharing abilities, they would never become like him.
Unfortunately, their abilities and mental health did lead to Valeria becoming socially isolated with few friends outside of their mother. However, while deciding on what to do with their life, they developed a heart for the spirits they saw on the daily, many of which were unable to pass on due to internal conflict. As such, they decided they would become a reaper, just not one the same as their father. They would become someone who helped existing spirits move on to their next life.
As an adult, Valeria now travels between many moons and realms, helping spirits of all kinds move on from their troubles and pass into a new existence, be it their afterlife or their next life. Despite being very involved with the spirit world on an emotional level, they still struggle severely to connect to living people and have very few friends. They often wonder when something will change and they'll be able to connect to someone real.
